Baby Naming Party?

What gift is appropriate for baby naming ?

I would usually bring the same type of thing I would give as a baby gift regardless of whether there is a baby naming. I just went to a baby naming on Sunday, but we already gave the baby gift (a dress with a matching sunhat and socks), so I didn't bring anything.

Anything that you may give a baby for a Christening, you could give to a Jewish baby girl for a baby naming. Unless of course it is a gold cross. That would not be good.

How about Cash ? How much is appropriate? Its' my hubby's friend..
I never know how much..dont want to be cheap and dont want it to be too much

The last baby naming I went to I bought the baby a framed Blessing in Hebrew. I bought it from a Judaism store in Merrick.
