Baby proofing help needed

OK BTDT Moms - Does anyone know of something that you can use to keep drawers shut so the baby cannot open them? The only thing Ive seen in the baby proofing section of BRU is the small plastic catches that you can install that only allow the baby to open the drawer an inch or so - but what about if they push against it and their fingers are in there? It will close on their fingers, no?

HELP!!!!!!! We have lots of drawers and a very curious and able-bodied baby.

That is all I have ever seen from my friends that have kids. I always wondered about their fingers getting caught too. I have caught my fingers in one, once. OUCH!

That's the only thing I've really seen myself.

When we were at Johns house in Ireland we taped everything closed. (Tacky I know but hey it worked)
