What do people usually put on the cake for a girl...

the first baby shower I'm ever going to is in two weeks so I really have no clue lol I just thought of that song

All of the cakes my mom made said either 'Best Wishes to Mom & Baby' or 'Showers of Happiness for Mom & Baby' (with the names if they were known) .

I've also seen them with the Name and Baby Shower....for example - Mary's Baby Shower

I used to work at a bakery when I was in High school. In addition to the ones mentioned... I remember seeing:

pink or blue, we love you (when they dont know the sex of the baby)

diapers, bottles & Pins...now the fun begins

showers of happiness

if i can think of the others, i will post them.

For my SIL we used:

Pink or Blue, we welcome you. (even though we knew it was a boy...)

I just went to a baby shower for one of my classmates and her cake said:

Bye-Bye Tummy, Hello Mummy!

I told my FH thats the saying I want (in 10 yrs...), LOL!
