Bach Party Help!

DHs Father is getting remarried in March and I am planning a night out for his Fiance and women of the family on March 10th in NYC. Kinda like a bachelorette party, but not, lol... We're thinking dinner and dancing, but not too expensive. Most of the ladies are older and it needs to be appropriate. We would not appreciate strip joints, awesome 80s prom, or nightclubs. lol... I was thinking maybe go to dinner and then like a nice lounge or something... But, again, I don't want to make people pay a fortune... Do you have any suggestions? I am open to any ideas, but it needs to be in NYC and involve drinks...

I thought of that too, but she is from another country and my FIL said she may not understand all of the jokes.
