Any suggestions of good bars or clubs in Manhattan that play awesome music (from 80s to hip hop to anything FUN) that are more low key (no lines with people all decked out...)?

We threw a bachelorette party for my best friend a few years ago at the Fat Black Pussycat, which is on West 3rd and 6th Ave. The music is a great mix - you hear everything from Justin Timberlake to No Doubt to 80's stuff, the drinks are good, and they'll work with you to give you a banquette and table as long as you guarantee a certain amount of people (or at least, they did that two years ago for us) The crowd is a nice mix, no stuffy bouncers eyeing up what you're wearing and it's in the heart of the Village so you can easily go to dinner beforehand and/or continue to barhop around the area afterwards. Or do what we did - get hella drunk and crazy and schlep home in a limo.
Saloon (upper east side) Metro53 (53rd street and 2nd Ave) Mad River Bar and Grill (upper east side) Gin Mill (upper west side- and might be a bit colleg-y)
