so my original plan was to take a party bus into the city, see naked men singing then do a bar crawl and drive around the city.
well i had a lot of people tell me they can't make it... so no bus.
i think in total there's like 8 or 9 of us. Me ash jen tiff maryann billi lisa trisha katie
my OWN sisterinlaw (who's like my sister) isn't going because 'it isn't her scene' pretty sure the night is about ME.. not YOU.
so out of the people coming Me - bride doesn't pay right? ash jen tiff maryann billi lisa--- i have a feeling she might cancel trisha- isn't coming in the limo katie- not sure if she can get off of work
so we're at 6 or 7 in the limo.
is it even worth it to take a limo?? or should we just take the train and act like drunken fools on the ride home? the plus with the limo is that we can drink to our hearts content INSIDE the limo and we can buy our own stuff and save $$ the negative is that.. a limo is going to cost my girls a pretty penny... and none of them really have the extra cash.
so.. what do i do?
actually- what did YOU do?

Re: bach party question
Personally I'd want the limo. How often do you have an excuse to get a limo for a crazy drunken night? BUT, if your girls can't afford it, maybe you can chip in a little.
I wanted to go to Vegas. I had no intentions of letting my bridesmaids pay for my flight/hotel. We split the costs evenly and they took care of me when we got to Vegas. HTH!

Re: bach party question
see i'd rather take a bus.. because it has a pole and i want to swing from the pole!
and we (fh, my brother, fsil and friends) take a limo into the city around christmas and drink and walk around... thats why i'm kinda like 'ehhh' on it... i'd rather take something that has a pole (like the train and subway has poles)
and my bach party is in 3 weeks.. and we have NOTHING- officially- planned!

I think you should still be fine with 3 weeks to plan! Of course a bus would be ideal but that's just not feasible with the number of people you have. if it's not important to you, I'd take the subway/cabs.

If we do city we are training it. Limo is fun but its an added expense. Just drink on the train.
And I hope 3 weeks are enough time to plan bc since everything fell through my girls are back to square 1.

Drinking on the train can be expensive, too.... if you get a summons!

Re: bach party question
i had a similar situation for my bach party where i sort of wanted a limo but we didn't have enough people who'd use it so it didn't work out.
what we did was to just get the limo to drive us home (but we took the train into the city and whatot). it worked out and was much more affordable.
