My Fiance does not beleive that people have there bachelor and bachelorette parties together, not everyone does but he is telling me that nobody does that, I told him that there are plenty of men and women that maybe go to atlantic city and make a weekend thing, with both parties, can someon help us with our dispute please, He says he wouldnt mind doing it but nobody does that.

It is done. Not by most but I have heard of it done. A lot of times both parties go out to dinner together and then the guys go to one club and the girls another. I kind of wish we were doing that because I am so close with the guys in the bridal party... some of them are my best friends. But we aren't. I love my girls too so it will be awesome either way! But tell him it is done maybe 1 out of every 15 times. I made up that ratio but you know what I mean lol.

I have also heard of it being done in reverse-- which I think is kind of cool-- where the girls go out to dinner and whatever they are doing after (bar, club, etc) seperatly and the guys do it sepertly and then meeting up after that for a drink...

When my FBIL was getting married, the guys went out separately, as did the girls, but then a lil later we all met up at a bar and finished out the night together. It was a great time.

same here! I am close to some of the guys too and i love them. actually one guy (my drinking buddy.. that's our name for eachother.. hes a childhood friend of mine) thinks he is coming to the bachlorette party! i dont mind if he comes.. but that's up to all the girls.
this is definately done! hey man it was even done on MTV! carmen electra and dave navarro did this! see so now you can use that as backup! if MTV is doing it then everyone is!!!!!!!!!!! ha ha ha i dont know why i laugh at myself!

ugh btw i was just talking to fh about bachlor parties he's been to and he was breaking the silence rule and telling me things that went on at some parties. its gross! and in most cases so WRONG! some of the stories he told me i was like OMG! I trust my FH completely.. he's a good guy. you just hear these awful stories all the time!
