Good for you, you sound very comfortable with yourself! When this all started up here with talking about bachelor parties, I started thinking about my fiance and what his will be like. I have listened to a lot of comments here and realized that I am so OK with whatever he does. Our relationship is based on 100% trust. I don't think he would be tempted nor am I worried about him 'looking'. If they go to Atlantic City, Vegas, a strip club or have strippers at a party, whatever he does is OK. No one can make him do anything because that is not what he is about. I can say this with conviction because I know what we are about. I don't wish the worry that some girls are experiencing on anyone but I agree with you - if there are concerns, they won't end simply by controlling if he has a bachelor party involving naked women or not. I'm grateful for what I have. I hope it works out for everyone.
The fantasy is not being able to get what you see. If you could have it, it wouldn't be worth fantasizing about.

True Meaning of Marriage
Throughout all of the debating, I think that many of us are missing a very good point here.
For those of us who are religious, no matter what religion, this is an issue. You will be standing up in front of God on your wedding day, pledging your eternal love to one another forever. This could be in front of a priest, rabbi, etc., I'm sure God would not approve of the above activity, whether it be by the bride OR groom. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs..However, it worries me when people who are getting married in a Church, for example, forget what the Church's idea of marriage is. I don't think strip clubs/strippers at the bachelor/bachelorette party fit into this picture.

It is a shame that you just insulted those on this web site who DO believe in saving themselves for marriage or getting married in a Church. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That is what this site is for, sharing opinions and thoughts during this crazy time of marriage. However, I AM glad I am getting married in a Church and I am very proud of my morals. I was just expressing a thought for individuals to think about. Unfortunately, you felt like reacting to this in quite a negative way.
If you are looking for a band, you might want to check out 'The Mystic' at www.themysticmusic.com. They do all Barry White, Earth Wind and Fire and even bring a horn section with them. You can see their song list on their website if you are interested. I started seeing them about 5 years ago at local places like Mulcahey's, Jackson Square, Coyote Grill, etc. and they have become so popular, they just do weddings now. They are great to work with and only take a minimal deposit with the rest due on your wedding day. Thanks again for the review of the Fox Hollow and good luck with your planning.

It is irrelevant if certain people on this board agree with you. There can always be a handful that don't and you may be insulting them with your comments. In a chat room with hundreds of people you don't know, you should not assume anything. This is especially true on a site like this and with a sensitive issue like religion
Do you have anything useful or positive to add to this board?

Good point about the insults. Religion nowadays is SO controversial and very personal. We should all enjoy the actual help we are providing to each other for our wedding plans. I have gotten some great ideas from this site! I find it very helpful to me.
