Has anyone thought of or already sent anything to the hotel they are staying at? I was thinking of sending a bottle of champagne to the hotel for him when he gets there?

Not cheesy at all. When DH went to AC for his bach party I had a bucket of 12 beers and a tray of chocolate covered strawberries sent up to the room for the guys and they were very grateful.

My FH is going to Vegas this weekend for his. I just sent out a package to him with a box of cigars (it has to do with an inside joke between us).

I actually called the hotel about a week before they went just to make sure that they do send stuff up to the room. I called the day they left to set it up with the Room Service peeps at the hotel and kinda just built my own package and charged it to my credit card. I also had one of the GMs call me to make sure that it had arrived because that wasn't cheap LOL.
Some hotels actually have prepared gifts to send up to rooms depending on who you are sending it to. I know a lot of Vegas hotels do this (like a Bachelor package or Bachelorette Package).
