My FH said today that his best man wants to have the bachelor party the same weekend as my shower. So FH will be in Vermont. Should this matter?
I guess technically no. But I've kind of always envisioned FH dropping me off at my shower, and the picking me up to get all the great stuff that we just got!
usually its FH that takes you to the shower and comes back to help load the gifts
eh i dont think it would bother me that much cause its not like he is going to be at the shower with you, and almost every shower i have been to all the girls usully end up hanging out with each other anway. why dont you see if you vcan do your bach party that night as well and kill two birds with one stone

I feel like I want FH to bring me to my shower and walk in with me, and come back at the end. So it would bother me a little
I went to a shower this summer for a friend and her FH was away on his bachelor party. He actually pre-recorded a video for her, and it was played at the shower. I thought that was really cute. She didn't seem to mind at all that he wasn't there. She was so caught up in the excitement
I think it's ok if he's not there as long as you don't mind! I mean the shower is really for women only...with that said, i did have FH pick me up a bit early from the shower and introduced him to lots of the ladies that had yet to meet him.
