OK so my FH's GM are totally useless and he wont have a Bach Party unless someone seriously steps up and does something. And yes, that would be ME!
FH wants to gamble. Plain and simple. His GM can't afford to do a night in AC [both for $ reasons and time] so I was thinking maybe they can go on that boat from the Nautical Mile.
Im searching high and low and can NOT get connected to the boat. Does anyone have any sort of info on this boat? Price to get on? Is it REAL gambling? I know theres alot of 'casino' services available but they all are for fake $!
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Re: Bachelor Party HELP! Casino boat?
I just looked it up. It's called Majesty Casino and features more than 200 slot machines and more than 20 table games for blackjack, craps and roulette. Call 516-546-2899 for hours based on season. Me and FH went on this for his stepfather's 50th birthday about 3 years ago on a July night. Honestly it wasn't that great. The buffet dinner was fried chicken and some rice with watered down drinks. It started out a nice night and all of a sudden while pulling into the open ocean... the captain announces we're going to experience about 6-8 foot swells this evening and everyone starts getting sick all around us. They were handing out barf bags (ran out of barf bags) and people were also getting sick in their coin containers. And they wouldn't turn the boat around!!! We felt trapped and they didn't even offer us anything to compensate!! Really don't recommend it. We didn't get sick becuase we're used to the water and boating... but it seriously wasn't a pretty thing to experience.

Re: Bachelor Party HELP! Casino boat?
08er crashing....my dad took my uncle there for his bachelor party this past september. They said the food wasnt too good but they had a great time on the boat. I think its all about who you're with and how you are on a boat. If you get sea sick, the worst thing you could do is drink on top of it. My uncle also won a few hundred $$ too so they had a good night!

Re: Bachelor Party HELP! Casino boat?
The partners of the boat approached FH last year to help them out with this and FH said no. He didn't like it at all and if the weather is mildly bad, they won't go.
How about Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun in CT?

I went on it w/ a bunch of friends a few years ago and we had a great time. I didn't eat the food but i drank the drinks :) It all depensd on who you are with. I love boats too - I have my boaters license so I never get sick on them!

Re: Bachelor Party HELP! Casino boat?
Right. I've heard not such great things about them. And actually, one of the knocks I've heard is that lower stakes tables are impossible to find on them, so in saving the commute time, the gambling gets more expensive.
Sorry you're stuck with the planning. what kind of guys don't plan a bachelor party that involves gambling? If these were my groomsmen, I'd be pissed.
awesome that you're picking up their slack.
