FH just sent me an email saying that my MOH text him asking if he can contribute to my bacheloratte party because they can't afford it. He told me not to say anything but I am beyond pissed! How do they think we are paying for the wedding and honeymoon? I told him to reply to her saying that he does not want to get involved and she should talk to me about it and her response was 'WOW, ok' How do you ask something like this? I am beyond upset and want to say something to her but he said not to. Am I crazy for being upset? At this point I'm ready to plan my own bacheloratte party because this is starting to get nuts. It's 9 girls, 9!!!!

omgggg that's so messsed up, honestly dont agree to be in a bridal party if you are a$$ broke, thats part of the deal, your FH should not have to give a dime, you are right you're paying for enough already!!

Wow. That's SO rude!!!!!!!! What kind of bachelorette party are you having? Is it something extravagant that you asked for specifically (e.g. a trip to Vegas)?

Wow that is RIDICULOUS! I am amazed by the things I read on this board sometimes!!
When I am in a BP I 100% expect that there are things that I will have to be paying for! Wow. Sorry you have to deal with that

Re: Bacheloratte Party Vent
yeah thats pretty crazy!!! What are they planning on doing and why would they ask your FH to pitch in? For my MOH's party we are all chipping in for hotel etc but she is buying her flight to Miami. I'm not sure what we are doing for my party but if we are going to a club or something I might pay for my way into the club and the BMs can pay for dinner etc.

Thing is I didn't ask for anything! All I said is that I wanted to have a good time!! If you know me I am so easy going that having dinner then going to the club is good enough. I really don't get it but I am so upset!!

Ugh, I am so sorry. That's terrible. I can't believe they put you and your FH in that position!!!! I think you should confront your MOH.

I didn't plan anything and left the planning to them. From what I understand we were going to have a pole dance party and then go to a club. Sounds pretty reasonable to me so I don't understand the problem!

Honestly, that is why I said I didn't want one. It looked like it would just turn into more drama

I agree with this! It was definitely messed up on her part for even trying to get your FH involved with the $ aspect.

Wow! Thats pretty nervy of her. Her response would have sent me over the edge! Why the heII would your FH pay for the bach party? I'm going through Crap with my shower right now. I was so upset last night that FH took over and is now organizing and paying for my shower! So annoying! How hard is a bridal shower in a house?
