Bachelorette Ideas?

Bachelorette Ideas?

Any ideas for incorporating someone who's underage (19)? I still want to go out and have fun but I don't want to exclude her! Definitely no spa weekend or any of that....just not me!

If you're all not shy, maybe pole dancing lessons? I heard it's funny and a good workout.
Cooking classes with wine pairings.... (no wine for her!)
Sex and the City tour of the city....

Re: Bachelorette Ideas?

I've done pole dancing lessions twice for a BP and it was so much fun!!!

When my friend was getting married, and we were planning her BP, we had to do something where her sister, who was the MOH and under 21, could come. We went to a comedy club for dinner and a show.

Other ideas - go for psychic readings, go to a bar or club that allow 18 years olds in, or go to a bar or club where she could get in with a fake ID.

My girls and I were talking about this. My sis/MOH and FH's sis are only 19. I love the idea of the Sex and the City tour but the other day I was thinking of going to a fun Mexican restaurant and drinking margaritas all night long. Dave & Busters is also a fun thing. I've never heard of Strike....I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the ideas....I guess I have never been to an 18 and over bar?

Also I don't live on LI and everyone is spread out, so it's kind of got to be a destination thing....I really don't know where to go or what to do....

ETA: I live in Philly, MOH lives in Boston, FSIL/BM is on LI, other BMs can't come....other friends in PA/NJ area.....

I personally think Strike is much better than Dave & Busters because they don't let really young kids in like D&B does.

Oh yeah, Gotham Comedy Club is SO much fun. There is also COMIX in the Meatpacking district. I heard it's very good as well!

Go to NYC and break it up into two days. You can even do some shopping during the day or do the Sex and the City tour...

Re: Bachelorette Ideas?

I don't know what to do....these are all good ideas, I really don't want to do anything too sexual (ie passion party, pole dancing, etc.) b/c it's really not me or my girls....

.....I guess I'm having issues b/c FH is going to AC and has like tons of friends who are local and his friends from far away are flying in, and my friends can't afford to do that....and plus he has way more friends anyway.....I just feel so ****** about this it makes me cry whenever I think about it........I hate this.

Re: Bachelorette Ideas?

What about doing a day at an amusement park like Great Adventure or Hershey Park?

Or doing a road trip to like the Jersey Shore, or Ocean City, Maryland (totally recommend Ocean City, MD). You could just lay out by a pool and drink and relax.

Considering it sounds like all of you would have to travel to meet, it'd probably be better to do some sort of weekend trip that everyone would travel to.

I was going to suggest Strike or a day at the beach/bbq and then your friends that are of age could go out.

Go to Montreal!! I just got back from a bach party there, and we had a blast, stayed Fri and Sat night. Hotel was bout $100/ night, and I think the age to drink there is 18, not sure but I didn't see anyone getting carded.
