Ok here is my issue. I really really want to go on this two night cruise for my bachelorette. My friends are all in and very excited about it. The problem is my sister. I really want her to be there, but she cant swing the money (shes away at college and broke). She told me to go without her that she would feel bad if I didnt go. I offered to pay half of hers and she said she wouldnt hear of it. Should I go without my sister, or plan something else that I am not as into? I need to make a decision tomorrow so help!

Re: Bachelorette issues
If you are close to your sister then I am sure you want her to be there and she wants to be there. Seems like she is very understanding and just wants you to do what makes you happy but I am sure she would be disappointed that she cant be there for your BP. You have to decide what is more important, the cruise or having your sister at your BP.
So I would say that you should either make other plans or go on the cruise but also do something else locally so your sister can participate.

Re: Bachelorette issues
What if you went on the cruise with your friends and had a 'sisters night out' separately? You could go to a spa for massages or mani's/pedi's.

Re: Bachelorette issues
I agree with the others, have your cruise, and do a sister's night out separately. I was in a similar situaiton. When my sister got married, the original plan was to go into the city to the culture club, before we found out it closed and was relocating. There was going to be a dinner out on the island before hand so our other sister, cousins, etc. could go (under 21). Then the plan switched to a night in AC, so now my younger sister REALLY couldn't go, and it turns out I lost my coverage at work for the night and couldn't go either.
I don't think my sister was too upset haha, but we ended up going to Houlihan's one night just the three of us, took advantage of our sister's minor status, and just had a great time having dinner and drinks. My younger sis will STILL be a minor when it's time for my bachelorette party, and I definitely wouldn't be opposed to doing this again for me.
