Ok Ladies,

Hi!
I just hit my 30's too and I wasn't into the male stripper thing. We have been looking into it and may do the Awesome 80's prom or Birdie's Bachelorette Party. They are both interactive plays, they have bars, and afterward you have free admission into the club. They seem really fun and you get to dress up like the 80's. They have combination deals where you can have dinner out and get a limo too.

For more info check out these websites:

Another idea is dinner and then maybe get a hotel room together and 'spa it up' with your wedding party :)

My parents have a place in Miami, I am hoping we can get a good rate on flights so we can make a cheap weekend out of it.

Strippers aren't really my thing and I'm not a big clubber so I wanted to do something that wasn't JUST going to a club. I also liked the idea of being 'away' and spending the night somewhere since I haven't had the chance to go away on vacation with most of my close friends.

We did a weekend in AC -- took the bus from LI to the Tropicana, did the beach, casino, drinking games in the room, dinner at Carmines, Providence (club) for a little, brunch, boardwalk, outdoor pool, etc and then took the bus home Sunday night. It cost about $200pp including everything but gambling $$ and souveniers.

Highly recommend it

If I have my choice... I'd love to 'Spa it up' with my girls. I will be in my mid-30s by my wedding date, and I'm just not into the club/bar scene.
