Re: Bachelorette Party

I told my BP I did not want anyhting too raunchy. We wemt to a comedy club. The comedian that nite was geared towards women. She was so funny, it was still dirty, but not too raunchy- and I did not have to worry about a stripper all over me and the BP. Not that I am a prude, but that is not my style. One of my BM made penis lollypops. After the club we wnet back to my house and we hung out and talked for hours. it was alot of fun. Hope this helps.

I just had mine this past sat. we did the same thing minus dinner. We went to Madam Tusseud's. I am a huge Bon Jovi fan and that was the only way they could give Jon to me for my Bachlorette party. Then we got a tarot card reading in the village and then went to Culture Club. We had a blast! I definitely recommend going there.

We're going to either Cancun or Punta Cana, which ever we can get the best deal for.

Re: Bachelorette Party

Thanks girls.

My BM mentioned the Culture club, but the problem is that I have a broken foot - so no dancing for me!!!

We are definately planning on going to the city so maybe dinner and a comedy club or a stip club - somewhere where I will have a chair to sit in.

I didn't want to be the center of attention anywhere, and my BP took me bowling....it was a blast! And we did dinner before that.

Re: Bachelorette Party

I saw a few bachelorette parties at Sutton Place Saturday night... the place I DJ at. Wonder if there were any from here.

I actually used to work at the Culture Club so I know thats a good place if you need your Bon Jovi treatment.

But alas... I play plenty of Bon Jovi at Sutton Place... and I take it a step further and put the videos to the songs on the bigscreen TVs. When was the last time you saw the 'Living on a Prayer' video? People love it!

Has anyone heard of Birdy's Bachelorette Party in NYC? Its in the same building as the Culture club and its supposesd to be an interactive type of show i.e murder mystery. Just trying to get some ideas together for my friend! Any info would be great!

My BP rented a limo and we went to the vineyards during the day! iT was sooo much fun! Then at night we went to dinner at Escapes, really cheesy but kinda funny!
It was the perfect combo of relaxed fun and raunchy!!!

I believe they do the Birdy's show on the 2nd floor of Culture Club. They obviously close off the 2nd floor of the club while the 1st floor is going on. Once the show is over... they take down the Birdy's show and prepare to open the 2nd floor to the rest of the club... which is needed cause that place gets VERY crowded on Saturday nights.
