How much do people usually pay for the Bachelorette party? I have one coming up soon for a very good friend (I am in the wedding party) Her sister, the MOH, says that it will be around 300 PP. SOme of the girls are saying this is too much money. The wedding is Memorial day week end in South Carolina, so we have to pay airfare and hotel, plus wedding expenses. I personally don't care, whatever the amount is, it is. But I figured I would get your opinion on it. Thanks.

Re: Bachelorette Party
Concidering that you have to fly somewhere, it might be resonable. But if it was local, that would be to much. I jsut got an invite for a friend of mine's and we are paying 145.00p/p for limo and admission to a strip club in Manhattan. That doesnt include drinks and anything else that we will come up with that night. I dont know if that is at all helpfull....

Re: Bachelorette Party
It's tough to say, because they're all different. I went to one where I didn't spend much - just on decorations, dinner, and going out for the night (actually that adds up quickly too!)....but then I went to another that was in VEGAS for 3 nights. Both were away weddings too so they were very expensive. I think $300 is probably normal even though it's a lot of money. It's crazy how fast things add up. I just know that if my wedding required people to fly in, I definitely wouldn't expect to have an elaborate bachelorette party.

Re: Bachelorette Party
Thats what I was thinking also. I have been to BP's for little money, just one night out on the town, then I have been to ones where it was a 5 day trip to the bahamas.
All I know is that for my BP, I want as little as possible, maybe Fire Island for the day or the Hamptons.
I guess we will have to see what happens.
Thanks for your thoughts,

Re: Bachelorette Party
In my younger days, living with my Dad I could swing $300 for a bachelorette party. Every one of my friends is married with children now and a mortgage, they would laugh at me. I think it depends upon the personal situation of the bridal party but in all honestly that's a lot of money to some people on top of airfare, hotel, etc.
