How far in advance do you think it should be planned..or does it just depend on what you will be doing? Any opinions would be great TIA!

I think it really depends on what you are doing. A night in the city shouldn't take much planning, but you will have to coordinate the dates that are best for everyone. If you plan on going away, you would want to plan a lot further in advance.

It depends also on how well you know the area where you are going. Like my friend planned a party in AC for another friend. SHe had to research prices on hotels and the party bus, and wheel and deal for that. Then she had to find restaurants for dinner. SHe also made sure we had stuff to do that night. So it really depends. It can't hurt to research your options in advance!

You have to figure out if you have anybody OOT coming. All my BM are from OOT, and my friends, so we had to plan a long way in advance.
