Bachelorette Party

Bachelorette Party

What would you do if your two maid of honors wanted to take you somewhere for your bachelorette party, but you really didn't want to go there? I have a feeling they want to take me to Mohegan Sun and go gamble and to the spa, which I would normally love to do, but it's the one place in the world I Don't want to go to anymore. I am being harassed by somebody in CT and he goes to the casino every day and works there and I know I would see him there. They don't know the severity of the stalking, but is it rude to somehow decline it? I had thought we were going to go to FL for the weekend where one of my maid of honors lives to chill and go tot he beach and that's what I wanted, plus ALOT cheaper.... Ughhh, I feel bad...

Wow! I would just tell them your predicament! That's crazy. Be totally honest with them. That's not being rude at all.

You should absolutely tell them how you feel!!! If they're your MOHs you should be able to tell them the truth and they'll respect your wishes. What about Foxwoods instead?

I think you should express what YOU want.

I planned a bachelorette party last year. I had wanted to do something crazy. She suggested a neighborhood bar in LI.

The bridesmaids thought it was a bit boring for a bachelorette party but that is what the bride wanted, which is what's important.

I agree. I've been involved in planning two BPs so far, and both times we just asked the bride what type of BP she had in mind, and made a plan from there. It's her day - not the BMs or the guests. I've already had to challenge two other BMs because they wanted to do the list thing, and the two brides are completely against it.
