Bachelorette Party

Where is everyone going or did you go for your bachelorette party? Are you going to be surprised or will you help with the planning?

i really want to go away- at least overnight & someplace that has a beach, a pole dancing class that we can take, and a nightlife- and AC is out- so we are looking to see what we can find

Yea me too, did you look into Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods or Turning Stone?

We are looking to hopefully go somewhere with a beach or a spa where we can all get massages and then go out for dinner and drinks and just have a good time.

My uncle actually offered to let us use his timesharing in Aruba. All it will cost us is for the airfare and spending money and Jetblue has pretty good price to fly there.

Re: Bachelorette Party

I know when mine is, and I'm helping plan it. My BP did soooo much for my shower I didn't want them killing themselves again for this! Plus, I kind of have a vision of what I want to do (and what I DON'T want to do) so I didn't think it was a big deal to be surprised. We're going out to a nice dinner on LI, then hopping in a limo and heading into NYC to go dancing!

Re: Bachelorette Party

I was worried about having my BM's spend more money for the bachelorette party but when I mentioned the idea to them they were all very excited and willing to go so I say why not. It will be nice, we can lay on the beach and relax all day, maybe do some water sports. I knew either way I wanted to go away for the weekend somewhere. I think if we go it will be Thurs-Sun.

well as long as you throw it out there and let them know that nobody is obligated to go. Many girls are going to love that they can go to aruba without having to pay for hotel and would want to take advantage of such an opportunity

A little bit of both. I confirmed the date and pretty much just gave ideas. It has been hard accomodating a bridal party of all different ages and likes. So far we are going to stay at the Borgata in AC and have the spa day as well as dinner and probably the night at MIXX and/or some gambling. I seems to suit everyones needs.
One of my BM is having her Bachlorette Party in South Beach and it seems as if she planned the whole thing.

I have no clue what we're doing yet. We're still fiddling with some ideas. I'm totally involved with the planning, but we're trying to do something that everyone would like. One idea we've been kicking around is to have a private lesson with the Coney Island Side Show on how to do fire breathing and things like that.

We are going to Vegas. I pretty much planned the whole thing along with my sister. My sisters and one of my other bridesmaids live in Delaware and rest of the 8 girls that are coming are from NY. I coordinated the NY girls and my sister coordinated those 3. I booked the rooms.

I schedule a wine tasting for us on the Sunday we are there at the wine cellar at the Rio. I also planned a night with a limo, dinner, chippendales, club, scavenger hunt through vegas.

The rest of the trip (4 days) is up to the girls. I know we all want to spend daytime laying by the pool getting our drink on!
