bachelorette party

Can anyone recommend a bar to go to in the city? I am having my bachelorette party on saturday and still unsure where to go. I would liek a place that is mostly a bar, but has a dance floor if we decide to dance.

not sure what you are looking for, but i went to a bachelorette party at Off the Wagon.....it was mostly a bar and it had some space to dance if you wanted. it was in the village, on MacDougal Street

We're having my friend's bachelorette party this weekend at Brass Monkey in the meatpacking district. Other options are Branch, Session 73, Cabana or Hiro both at the Maritime Hotel....

We did my friend's at a club called 'Duvet' in the city...the inside is loungey, with these huge beds and canopies & tables set up and they had a package where you get dinner included and then it turns into club/dancing later on. We had alot of fun and it was a nice combo of dinner and dancing if that's something you are interested in... HTH

I know most people may not like this lol but I am going to Lucky Chengs. It's a drag queen, karaoke, bar/restaurant.

I mean, if you want to do something totally out of the ordinary, maybe try that?

The Whiskey! great place :) definetly has bar and club atmosphere...plus it's in timesqaure so if u want to go somewhere with more of a 'BAR' atmosphere, there are tons of places around...it's right next to the W hotel on 47th st. have fun! here's the citysearch page so u can see if it's something u'd be intersted in..
