YES!!! V!!
crashing...
one of my good friends had TWO bachelorett parties!! one that included older and younger ladies where she just had a passion party, drinks and games and the other one with only the young girls!! we dressed up, went out to the city in a limo and had alot of fun...she did this so that the other ladies wouldnt feel left out...
maybe you can do that? or something similar that is not too expensive!

Re: bachelorette party \?
Nooooooo. I was going to originally, but now that my bachelorette party has changed, I'm not inviting her. She's a wet blanket anyway.
I'm inviting his sister since she is a BM.

Re: bachelorette party \?
We are actually doing a separate 'old folks' bach party with my family. We'll be going to AC for the night for the spa/dinner/gambling. At the real bach party, the only family members that are invited are my 2 cousins, my SIL, and possibly one of my aunts, but definitely no mothers!

Re: bachelorette party \?
No. Neither my mom or his mom are invited to the bachelorette party. The b-party is just my bridesmaids (my sisters and his sister) his cousins, my best friends.
That being said, I kind want to have a 'girls night' with the mother's and my sisters and his sister the week of the wedding. Just to chat, eat, etc. Maybe you can do something like that?

Re: bachelorette party \?
I am.
Then again, both of our moms party more then I do!
We're going to An 80's club On the Friday night and AC on the Saturday - coming home Sunday. Figure either mom can just go up to the room if they are too tired to continue (Which again, I think I'll be the first to say I'm tired LoL) This way they don't miss out on anything and nobody feels left out. Nothing I can't do or say in front of either one of them so we won't feel like we have to behave lol
They are both very happy that they were included.

Re: bachelorette party \?
aww i feel your pain. my FSIL invited her mom and her FMIL to her bachelorette party.
I'm not inviting my mom, or my FMIL. It's girls only
I'm hoping she isn't expecting it, she is youngish and young...but still, this about me and my girls not about family lol

Re: bachelorette party \?
right... and i dont want to have to worry about what gets talked about etc.... i like his mom... but dont think she should be there. i think my mother would be offended if she was invited and my mom wasnt- and my mom is not coming! nor does she expect or want to!!!

Re: bachelorette party \?
We are doing a weekend on Fire Island (I think! I should stop saying this but my girls are saying my wish is granted, lol) and I'm thinking I'll invite the moms for the day? We've rented a house on Fire Island for the last 2 years and my mom came for the day on a Saturday both times.
That being said....the moms are NOT invited for any shenanigans at night, and I know they don't want to come either. And if my b-party was just one night, like in AC or something, they wouldn't be invited.
So I totally agree with you...no moms! I plan on getting wild and I think that would be awkward

Well put.
But you won't feel bad having them there all day and then saying you gotta go so the girls can party? (obviously not in that way) I would feel bad to do that. I dunno, I guess I got lucky with my FMIL, she's a riot! and my mom - well let's just say... for her 71st birthday she got a tattoo on her chest!
