most of us are 20-somethings with the exception of my younger sister (who is 18) and a couple of BMs in their late 30s (cousins)
i'm not much of a partier, no strip clubs, etc. looked into doing a cruise to nowhere but there are no 1 day cruises in the time frame we're looking (september/early oct)
are there other cruise lines other than the majors that do overnights?
dont want to do wineries b/c my sister is out then
want to do something all together - no spa treatments, etc. but also don't want it to be over in 2 hours either
thoughts? would consider an overnight somewhere if it wasn't overly expensive (woudl like to keep everything under $200-300 each per person)

Re: bachelorette party
I was in the same boat as you. I ended up renting a house in FI for a weekend (thanks to Soon2BMrsJoeBear )
Have you looked into doing something like that? Depending on how many people you have going, you can probably keep it down to $200-300 each.

Re: bachelorette party
Google Spirit Cruises! We are doing one in May for our Bparty. They are 3 hours long. The cruises to no where - you have to catch them as they don't always have them. I know you'll still need to come up with something for before/after the cruise but you get dinner and a live DJ on board. Also, Spirit Cruises has a new ship they just opened up this year, its all over their website, i forget the name but its a bit more expensive but I guess its a nicer ship? The cruise tickets begin at like $111 with tax and fees and can go up to $160 i think for the top of the line pacakge.

not too late but too expensive - it's $429 and that doesn't include alcohol! (and it's 2 nights)
thanks though

Re: bachelorette party
Why don't you guys just take a limo into the city for dinner at a really nice place and a show? Maybe hit a comedy club for some laughs at the end of the night.

Re: bachelorette party
There's a really fun dueling piano show in Times Square.
I understand the dilemna... my cousin is just 18, but she can't come on the weekend of my bach party anyway since she has finals. We were just going to drag her around to the wineries!
You could see Avenue Q or Rain - A Tribute to the Beatles.... both are fun shows!

Re: bachelorette party
Or try xperienceday.com for fun excursions in the city! Maybe you could do a walking tour - like all the eateries on the LES - or a cooking class or sailing excursion!
