bachelorette party dilemma...long sorry...

bachelorette party dilemma...long sorry...

One of my MOHs is getting married two months before me. I'm not in her BP...she is having only her sisters. However, I offered to plan her a b-party, since her sisters are not 21, and she wants to do a bar thing.

The plan is to spend the night in a party town near her (she lives out of state.) We're going to get a hotel. I talked to two other girls who are helping with the planning, and they were under the impression that we are getting one big hotel room and everyone that comes is crashing in it.

I'm not really thrilled about that because I'd rather have a bed, but that seems to be what is going to happen. However, it is creating a problem...the bride wants it Labor Day weekend...so we really need to get the ball rolling...

I've asked her for a guest list a few times, and she keeps saying she's going to give it to me. However, it hasn't come yet. I know she's really busy, but Labor Day weekend is less than two months away...if we don't book a hotel soon, I'm afraid they are going to get booked up. But I don't know how to book something if everyone invited is supposed to stay in one room if I don't know who is invited! What do I do???

TIA!

Do you at least have a def. number of you, the bride and her sisters at least? If so just book a suite at a hotel and then once you get a final count that will determine the cost per person.

I'd ask her for at least an estimate. Even if she can't give you an exact number or a guest list, just say 'How many people do you THINK are coming?' It will give you an idea if you need one or two rooms.

i agree - don't tell the hotel how many people will be staying in that room because they prob only allow 4 max per room.

also, if you don't want to sleep in the suite, you could always book a separate room for yourself (and maybe someone else, if they want) to sleep in.

good luck and sorry she's being a pain about not getting you the guest list.

if you know that its you and the two other girls. just agree to AT LEAST split cost 3 ways. if more ppl come, you can get some $ back

but yes - book now!
