Bachelorette Party Drama (long)

Bachelorette Party Drama (long)

so an event that was supposed to be fun, is giving me a knot in my stomach! For my bach party, we decided to go on the Sex & the City tour, dinner and then to a bar or 2. Everyone was emailed about 2-3 months ago to see if this was ok and figure out dates. Everyone seemed fine with all that was going on. Then comes to the booking of everything and things start to get sticky.

I have about 13 girls going on the bus tour, then more meeting up with us for dinner and then some people are leaving after dinner and it's about 12-15 girls going out for the night. So that's a headache keeping track of who is coming and going! We decided, a suggestion from other girls, to get a limo bus to pick us up after dinner and take us to the bars and then back home, instead of a hotel in the city. I booked the limo after asking everyone numerous times. My mom and I decided to pay money towards the limo, so the price for everyone is less b/c I'm not paying for anything else that day and everyone else is spending a lot of money. So now the bus is costing about $40-45 a person. I think that's a pretty good price to have peace of mind that we have a ride all night long, etc. Now I have 1 girl telling me it's too much and they don't want to do it. Well then the price goes up for everyone else and you have to take cabs by yourself. Plus she's saying why can't we just stay at one bar, so then we wouldn't need a bus. Well it's not set in stone that are going to 2 bars, but the bus is the just in case.

I don't know what to do!? Do I cancel the limo bus, if I can, and just have everyone take cabs and the train home or keep the bus and those that are willing to pay use it??

Keep the bus!! You're not going to want to worry about hailing taxis and catching trains the night of your b-party. A round trip train ticket plus taxi fare will add up so I don't know what this girl is complaining about. Let her do what she wants...can you find someone else to take her place on the bus??

Keep the bus. I've never heard of BM giving the brides so much of a headache. You had to see my girls the day we had to go for dresses. You are the bride. Whoever doesn't want to go..that is their problem.

Don't let this ruin your moment

thank you! i'm probably going to keep the bus. the 2 girls that are giving me trouble are FH's cousins and they were ok with the bus when i first asked about it. I've talked to a few other friends and people about it and they are all fine with the bus. so she'll just have to deal!

Why are you taking care of this? Isn't this your bridal party's job?
