I just got my invitation from my bridal party to my bachelorette party in south beach!! The bridal party is saying all the girls that are going are a surprise - but they did not invite anyone from FH side - FSILs or any of his close friend's fiances, gfs etc. By etiquette should they be invited? or is it only supposed to be the closest friends of the bride?

Re: bachelorette party etiquette
I think the invite should be extended. If you don't get along with them, that's different. But if you do, they should be invited. It's the right thing to do.

I'd at least invite them, at least extend the offer, leave it up to them if they want to go/don't want to go. You don't want to start things off w/ hurt feelings.

Re: bachelorette party etiquette
for a bachelorette party, it should be whoever the brides wants invited.... for a shower, it should be both sides of the family...

For a bachelorette party it is whoever the bride wants. You do not need to extend an invite and in some cases I would say it is better just to keep it close friends. They should be invited to bridal shower though.

i think bachelorette parties are just your close friends & who you want to invite. i would not invite them unless we were close.
you can do that for your bridal shower.
