I'm not close with my FH's 3 female cousins - but i somewhat feel like i have to invite them to my bachelorette party..
1 is only a year younger than me, the other is about 4 years older than me and the 3rd is like 7 or 8 years older (shes my FG's mother).
Do you think i am really obligated to invite any of them?

Re: Bachelorette party guest list
I hope you don't take any offense to any of this...nor do any girls in your situation.
Weddings are about families coming together and the events that lead up to them allow those bonds to be built and fortified. What type of relationship do you want with FH's- your future family? If you don't ever want to be close...then not inviting them will acheive that.
If you're having a midsize-8-10 party, there will be enough girls where no one feels uncomfortable and after a few rounds of drinks- all will let their hair down.
I would invite them because I want to be close with my FH's family. His sister is in my Bridal party, I never see her as she lives in Atlanta...but I want her in all of my pictures. That's just me.

I'd invite them. You might not be close to them (yet) but they are your FH's family. It's always better to err on the side of being more inclusive than less.

I agree. But then again maybe I feel like this because I wasn't presented with a similar situation.

Thats what the shower is for, the bachelorette should be a night out with your closest friends. A sister in law is one thing, but cousins... NAH!

If they are not in your bridal party, then no, I do not think you are obligated to invite them. Any additional people who are invited that are non BP members are solely your discretion.

ITA! I think this would be a good opportunity to have fun with some of his family member. Which is very important considering you are now a part of his family. I would totally invite them!
I even put FH's oldes neice (she is like 22) in my BP just to show that I am accepting his family. I was trying to include both families anyway possible. He also put my brothers as GM's. I just think it's a nice touch.
EDIT - You are NOT OBLIGATED to invite ANYONE! So I don't think you are obligated but I do think it would be a very nice move on your part. Then it's up to them if they wish to accept the invite. I would most likely jump at the chance to get to know FH family memeber... ESP the ones who are around my age! FH has a lot of sisters and neices and nephews but they are all in another age group so it's different. I am inviting his sisters to the bachlorette party... at least I think I am, my MOH is running it!

Re: Bachelorette party guest list
when my cousin got married his fw at the time didnt invite me and i got pretty upset by this... I felt pretty left out but whatever i got over it, but its not like the bride to be pays for anything, the bachelorette party pays for it all (at least thats how we always do it)
