bachelorette party HELP

What are some great clubs, bars and lounges in the city? Most of my bridal party is from Boston but want to plan it in the city! Should we bother getting a limo?

Thanks!

Are you into dancing or looking for a more lounge thing? Are you looking to do dinner? how many girls are there? If there aren't alot then cabs are good. Are you staying at a hotel?

All good questions. Probably dinner and maybe a lounge and a club. I like to dance! Probably around 10 girls, and if we could get a hotel we would like too since there will be a lot of OOTers for this.

Mine is on Saturday. we are meeting for drinks at my house, then taking a limo to SOHO. We are having dinner at Dos Caminos and then going to two bar/lounges in the area: Naked Lunch and Sugar. we are just doing a limo pickup and drop off b/c we are staying in the same area.

check out www.sheckys.com
they have this FREE service called Partyaid. Basically, you write an email about what you're looking for and they will email you back in 24 hours clubs and bars that interest you.

If you want an awesome downtown restaurant that is good for groups. Essex is fantastic. We had a dinner with open bar (we had bottles of champagne, wine, martinis, shots) choice of three entrees and family style appetizers for $80 dollars per person including gratuity. www.essexnyc.com

We stayed at The Roosevelt Hotel and we got two rooms that were adjoining. Also, The Roosevelt had a limo that was able to pick us up and drop us off. We paid about 20 bucks per girl.

HTH!!!

not all of them are in the same area but for example if you go down to like 10th and 11th ave in the 20's theres one club next to another, infact the side streets for a couple of blocks are all closed bc of these clubs so that might be a good option. Marquee, myst, even home are all there, its where crobar used to be but it closed down.

Then some are downtown

hey leslie -

i wouldn't waste getting a limo - the money could be much better spent that night! Get the girls their own metrocards - it'll be much cheaper and more fun...

I personally LOVED going bowling for my bachelorette party - there's an AMAZING bowling alley in the port authority. The drinks are DIVINE!!!!!!

It feels like a club/lounge but you bowl....check out the website:
