bachelorette party ideas

Two questions...is it ok for me as the bride to help plan my own bachelorette party? My MOH (sister) is having a baby soon and I'm sure she's going to have her hands full. Is it egocentric to plan it? I also have an out of town bridesmaid so I'd like to plan it rather than it be a surprise, that way I can give her the heads up when it is.

If anything, I'd at least like to give my MOH some fun ideas. Personally, I'm a bit of a tomboy sometimes and would love to do paintball or lasertag...anyone else do that?

I don't want to do that if no one else attending isn't into it though, so please give me any fun ideas you can think of. The last thing I want is to be sitting at a bar sipping out of a penis shaped straw...seen that so many times, that's so overdone.

I like the Awesome 80's Prom...It seems like a lot of fun. I planted the seed today and told 2 of my girls I would like to do it.

I think it is totally fine to help plan. I am currenlty trying to plan my bf's bachelorette party. She is giving us very vague ideas to help guide us and we totally appreciate it. My girls have been asking me even thought I have like 11 months. I think they rather do something that you really want to do. Totally fun. This is the only time you get to be egocentric!! Live it up!

i think it's totally fine if you help plan - that's what i'm planning on doing.

what i want to do is go to Lips in the city (it's a drag queen resturant). i've been there before and it's tons of fun. a little pricey, but it's what you'd expect.
