I was thinking about going to Bermuda or Bahamas (something like that) for my bachelorette party… doing a 3-4 day weekend type thing. I then started to realize that it was going to be a lot of $$ and not fair to the BP that is already spending a lot of $$ on the dress, shoes etc… my MOH is saying that since FH is going to Vegas for his we should do something like that.. (destination bach party) I do agree and I would love to do it, but I can’t expect everyone to be able to afford that nor can I expect everyone to pay for me (which she is saying is the way it should be)
I am open to any ideas- not just going away type parties…. Anything from NYC to bar hop and take the train home, going to Florida etc…. I am just trying to get ideas so I can bounce them off of her and we can discuss many ideas besides just Bermuda/Bahamas since that’s all we can think about anymore lol

im thinking out dinner at a local restaurant then a out for karaoke .
I heard circle line cruise is not expensive and a nice little trip- then hit up a bar or club

I want the same thing....i'm hoping we get a decent turnout so we can score a sweet deal with flights and rooms. bahamas is expensive, which was my first choice, but now we are thinking of doing jamaica b/c it's cheaper. I've already been but I LOVE Jamaica so I'm a-ok with it!

I totally hear you!!!! Just an idea- why not Atlantic City? We just went to the Water Club at the Borgata for my friend's wedding and it was so much fun!!!! We only stayed for one night so it wasn't crazy expensive yet we felt like we were away. We left super early in the morning and played by the pool all day and then went to dinner and out at night. In my opinion, it was perfect!
BTW- there is a Hearts on Fire store in the hotel and instead of talking to guys and gambling and doing normal wild bachelorette stuff we were all trying on 'our wedding bands' and 'bridesmaid gifts' hahaha i'm sure the people at the store wanted to kill us but it was fun!!!

AC is definitely an option... i have only really been there once so i dont really know of much to do there though... id have to look into it. I wish my MOH was the type of person that told me i had no say in it an was planning the entire thing lol and surprises me! ahahaha

OMG if you need help FM me for info- my friend's MOH didn't even come to the bachelorette party- I booked/set up the whole thing.

AC!! Can totally get that destination feeling but it's driving distance for everyone. You could stay for a weekend or longer and it will still be far less because of the travel expenses.. Some of my girls want Vegas or Miami but if even one is uncomfortable with the price I won't do it.. Probably going to be a Fri-Sun in AC
If the beach is a big deal to you, Florida (ft lauderdale or miami) wouldn't be as bad as flying to vegas or an island

I am going ot atlantic city we are getting a room. WE are going to go early and hang out by the beach and pool etc... maybe go to the spa then go out to dinner and then hit up the clubs maybe a little gambling

I'm going to a BP on the Jersey Shore next weekend. I also have one in Ocean city and I know my FH is having his in Key west.

Another idea if you want to stay in the city and it's warm out when you set it up you can book rooms at the Gansevoort in the meat packing district. They have such a fun pool. So you can hang and drink by the pool during the day then get ready and go out/go to dinner and there's so much to do down there and you don't have to go far.
