Bachelorette Party Ideas Needed

Hello,

My MOH has asked me for some ideas on things I might like to do for the Bachelorette Party.

2 quick questions from a quirky bride to be.....

1. What kind of out of the box fun bachelorette party ideas could a 38 year old bride to be, who is not comfortable being the center of attention, no longer into bar hopping into the wee hours of the morning, and really does not like being touched by strangers so a soothing day at the spa with massages is so not an option, give to her MOH, that would be affordable, easy to get to, and have a little something fun for everyone in my varied group of girls?

2. Has anyone been to LIPS, Lucky Cheng's, and/or The bachelorette show?

Thanks :)

You could do a wine tasting and in northfork. Lips and Lucky Chengs is fun. I didnt think the food was all that but you guys could do a dinner before hand. There is another show thats funny its called Sex Tips from A gay guy to a straight girl that was really fun

I can def relate to that lol! We took my friend to Lucky Cheng's for her bachelorette party and it was hilarious. Fair warning: they shout out the brides to be. If you go be prepared if you don't like being center of attention in that way. I actually thought the food was pretty good. Their Pad Tai was my favorite. My friends surprised me and took me to Viva Toro in Williamsburg. It a Mexican restaurant, opens into a club at night with bottle service and they have a mechanical bull. It was lots of fun. We ate, we danced, my cousin rode the bull and did really good. We had bottle service and hookah too. All in all it was a great night. No hopping around, you can do it all in spot. I'm not into anyone rubbing up on me either so a stripper was not an option, which they knew lol. I like mani/pedi and do it regularly so nobody cared about a day at the spa for our group either. Other places like Tao, Lavo, Ravel, The Gavensvoort, and other rooftop parties are fun too, do the same but are more expensive.... :/ whatever you end up doing will be great I'm sure!!!

One of my friends who is around your age and also doesn't like to be the center of attention did a brunch bachelorette at Paranna in NYC. It is a club atmosphere brunch with A DJ and dancing, etc. She had a blast!

I would definitely look into The Box for a older but still raunchy and perfect bachelorette party - described as a combination of theater, burlesque and erotica, you have to just go to get it. The McKittrick Hotel where they perform sleep no more is also a great time on a Friday or Saturday night...its a 20s style resto/bar all the waitstaff is dressed accordingly and there is a KILLER band that performs rock/soul music - hard to describe but AMAZING.
