My sister and I are planning my Bachelorette party we want to go to a few clubs (dance clubs). Does anyone have any ideas of any clubs that would be fun to go to? There are going to be a bunch of us going. My Bachelorette party is on Friday Dec 19th. We are looking at clubs on Long Island. We are not to sure about dance clubs in the city. We rented a party bus for the night. Please help my sister and I out with any ideas of what dance clubs on Long Island would be good to go to. Any help would be very helpful to us. Thank you ladies. Happy planning.

Re: Bachelorette party ideas..... please help
I don't know about friday night but Saturday night I heard Zachary's isn't so old anymore and they play great music.
I also heard Mirage is now Glow so that would be the best bet

you can also go to Savannahs in East Meadow and Oragin on Route 110. If you want a lounge for a little bit go to Cavo in Astoria (you can hit that up on the way to the city if you plan to go to the city at all). If you go to the City, go to Porkys, Mansion, Lemon Bar, Pink Elephant, (FM me if you want more LI clubs or NYC ones!!!!!!)

For Long island you can go to Oragin its where Ice used to be. Crazy Donkey, Bianco, and now mirage and posh got together and they do Glo now.
For the city there is: Marquee, Mansion, Duvet, Providence, 230 5th, Pink Elephant, Home, Touch, even hawaiian tropic zone now does a club on weekend nights and its pretty good, guest house, Sol

What are the age requirements on these clubs? I have one girl that is going who isn't 21 yet and she will not be 21 until Feb. Does any of these clubs have bachelorette party packages?

I posted on the 09 board but they are 21 and over.
In the city the only places i can think of that are under 21 is Webster Hall and Avalon. BUT I will say that the places that are under 21 are a VERY young crowd and most will be that age so keep that in mind.

Someone told me that if I call ahead of time to let them know that there is one girl in the group that is not 21 yet but she is 20 that they may let her in any way but she will not be able to drink. Do you think this is true? I would rather go to a club that is 21 and over. I know we will be going to a few clubs that night.

Avalon used to be a church and there's one big unisex bathroom which I hated because I had guys hitting on me in the bathroom. I'd stay away from there. JMO.

no i dont think this is true. I would not call and let them know ahead of time. You are better off trying to get her in with the person working the door. If you are a big group of girls then that works out best. Most clubs now are a bit more strict and you NEED ID.
What we used to do many years ago is use somebodies ID that resembles us. When i was younger i will say it was alot easier to get into a club and most of my teenage years my friends and I got in without any ID and it was not a problem. When we turned around 19-20 years old is when it got strict. So for that 1-2 years we used someones real id that looked somewhat similar to us and thats what worked. Even my cousin used my ID to get into clubs when she was under 21 and worked for her. This is your best bet i think.

yeah avalon is the old limelight actually.
I personally wouldnt go to webster hall or avalon thats why i even said to keep in mind it will be a young crowd and might not want to go there
