My girls and I are trying to plan my bachelorette party in San Juan and are looking for recommendation on fun (not a lot of families) places to stay, cool bars, restaurants, clubs, etc.
Is it better to stay in Isla Verde, Old San Juan or Condado for a Bachelorette?

I'm actually leaving Thursday night for a Bachelorette party in Isla Verde. We rented a condo for four nights. It came out pretty cheap. For 7 girls it was $90 each. I'll give you more info when I come back on Tuesday.

I went with girlfriends and stayed in the Marriott in Condado last month--I think it was perfect b/c a short cab ride to Old San Juan (we ate and drank here a few nights) and about the same distance to the El San Juan hotel (also good for food and bars)! I don't know about Isla Verde but Condado is definitely fun for a bachelorette party!
If you can stay at El San Juan, I think it would be even better but we stayed at the Marriott free (points)! Good luck!

There's a great restaurant in Old San Juan called Tantra. They have amazing food and drinks - I would give anything for their cinnamon clove martinis! The owner talked us into a few sampler platters so we pretty much tried the entire menu and everything was great. They also have belly dancing some nights.

I stayed at the El San Juan and had a great time!! The hotel was beautiful and has a really fun night life - whether you are going to their club or hanging around their bars. Also, their pools were amazing and their one pool has a swim up bar!
