Bachelorette Party (RVCBride DO NOT READ!)

Ok...so...i'm in the midst of planning a friend's bachelorette party. She is on LIW all the time (she's an 05er) and BETTER NOT BE READING THIS! (and if you are STOP NOW MELISSA!)


So....we're going to do an overnight thing in the city. Limo, Dinner, party, hotel, breakfast, yada yada yada....here's the thing. I dont' know WHERE we should go out after dinner. Any suggestions?
Strip clubs are absolutely out of the question.
I'm looking for someplace fun where we can dance but not really a clubby club. we also want something bachelorette friendly but NOT the Culture Club.
we just want to drink, dance, hangout with the girls and have a great time.
any suggestions?????

Some great places to go for drinks, I think, are hotel rooftops. The new Hotel Gansevoort (on Gansevoort st.) -

has an awesome rooftop w/ amazing views (drinks are kind of pricey, but it is a special night!) Music's good but probably not dancing. Also the Shelburne Hotel roofdeck (Rare View) on Lexington and 37th -

Same sort of atmosphere as Gansevoort. Little more laid back I think. There's a good lounge downtown, People, on Allen St.

Great music. Really cool, loungy place. If I think of some more I'll let you know. You can always start at one of the hotels for a drink then head somewhere else. Just my suggestion!

B.E.D. its a cool place...you eat in bed hahah when you walk in you take your shoes off & the beds hold up-to 15 people....i was just there like 2 weeks ago...ask me where it is?? i couldnt tell you...you can find it on any new york city web site! well have fun
