So, I posted a similar subject a few weeks ago but I still need help...
Can anybody reccomend any FUN places to go in the city for a bachelorette party??? Good bars/clubs?
We don't want anything typical bachelorettey though...for example... no strip clubs no culture club no 80's prom thing
Just a real fun place to hangout, dance, drink...etc.etc.etc...
Any suggestions????

La Mela on mulberry st.
I was there last yr and there was a bachelorette party going on and it looked SO fun!!! It's italian food, very laid back and I think they just give you a variety of food... no menus (if i remember correctly).

someone on here suggested a murder mystery weekend. i dont know if you'd like that, but it did sound fun.

I love La Mela! Also, Mangia y Bevi. We went there last year for my friend and had an amazing time... the food was good too!

I like Automatic Slim's, but it is very small in there, can get crowded.

I know you said no strip club, but there is a play called naked boys singing, in the village. Its all male nudity but tastefully done. Its a lot of fun and I defently wanna go back of my Bachelorette party. They offer really good packages, the show and dinner with an open bar at Lips I think and a few other places. Its worth looking into!

Whenever my girlfriends get together for dinner to celebrate something, we always begin at Cafe Espanol on Bleeker St. The food is amazing and inexpensive and the pitchers of Sangria go down like juice! Unfortunately, you realize they are not juice when are ready to leave (hehe)! There is a indoor/outdoor room that is perfect for parties, and you are close to all of the bars for after!

ANybody ever hear of the place where you can dance on the bar???? I'm not sure what it's called but the bachelorette expressed interest at some point and i can't remember the name????

Girls always end up on the bar at Calico Jacks on 42nd and 2nd. It is right next door to another bar called McFaddens...always a good night
