bachelorette party suggestions needed!

i am looking for a bar or lounge in the city that has a DJ that plays good dance music...a fun place that's not too super trendy...i used to go to Madison's on the upper east side (years ago) but I don't know what type of crowd is there these days....any suggestions would be appreciated
