Is five weeks before the wedding too early for a party?

Re: Bachelorette Party - timing?
I don't think so. I am doing mine about 4 weeks away because we are going to vegas and I want to have time when I get back to get last minute things done.

I don't think so. R u going away? If your going away to some where sunny u might wanna do it closer to your wedding date so u can get a tan, if your into tanning.

No, we are not going away. Just going out. But all the girs in the party have crazy events going on all the other weekends (weddings, and work related).

Re: Bachelorette Party - timing?
I'm actually doing mine 2 months in advance, which isn't something I wanted, but the only time I was able to get all my girls together. We're going away, and if I wanted them all there, I had to sacrifice timing for my girlfriends.

5 weeks is perfectly fine. My fh leaves thursday for his bachelor party and its 6 weeks before the wedding. I know many who do it about a month or even up to 2 months before

I think thats perfect timing!!! you can save the rest of the weekends to get everything together for the wedding.

If that's the only timr you could get your girls together then it's fine! You want to make sure you have all your girls there. So what if its a little early, you don't want to regret not having the ppl you care about there.Enjoy!

Thank you, that was my take on things. I rather have something in advance, when I knew everyone I loved could have made it. None of them wanted to miss out on it, so I found a time that was perfect for all of them.
