Bachelorette party troubles

Bachelorette party troubles

So my original plan was to go to Vegas but then flight costs went up and no one wanted to spend the money so I gave up that idea. Then I settled with traveling to Ocean City, MD for my bach party since it's within driving distance. I have always wanted to go away for my bach party but now we only have 4 girls (including myself going)!! My FH is going on his bach party in Oct which means we are going to do another bach party for me that same weekend (local - winery tour) in Oct.

I still really want to go to OC...
Should I do both or should I still go to OC with the 3 girls (all are my besties) to OC and have a nice quiet girls weekend out of it??

I'm so torn cause I have already given up what I really wanted to do.

I'm sorry to be crashing but I feel your pain on this and I just had to tell you to still go to OC. You will not regret it!

When we planned my Bach Party I wanted to go to Florida. When I first got engaged everyone was for it. then excuse after excuse started coming out and my girlfriends that I grew up with (7 girls) none of them came! I ended up having my 2 sisters, my SIL, SIL's best friend, and my cousin. NONE of my friends came and it was heart breaking. But I had the TIME OF MY LIFE! I'm so glad I didn't cave and plan something different.

Also, the other girls wanted to do something different for me locally and I ended up turning that down. It wasn't fair for the girls who went away to pay twice just to make the other girls feel better about not coming. I was engaged for 2 years almost and told everyone FIRST thing we were going away and still came up with excuses (and trust me...they were LAME excuses).

So do what you want to do and go to OC with your 3 besties! You will not regret it! And don't do other things just to make everyone else feel better. It's your time and your once in a lifetime experience!

Thanks so much!! One of my fears is that I will be very upset and will regret not going. We planned a two year engagement and I told everyone that I wanted to go to Vegas and everyone was game and as time came near its been excuse after excuse. Some were valid and I did promise that we would do something local while all the boys are away from my FH bach party. So I will get the big one in then (I hope unless everyone bails again).

My dream has always been Vegas as well! Everyone backed out and it would have only been three of us. We nixed it and planned on AC. That ended up getting nixed as well! I'm definitely bummed and its hard to get excited for my NYC Bach party. (I agreed to it but in the beginning it was my only no) I'm so worried I'm going to ruin my Bach weekend being upset and ungrateful!

Just go to OC! Then you won't be a mope for your local shindig.

Definitely go away!! You only get married once, and you don't ever want to regret not going. You will have a great time even if it is just your 3 besties.

i would say, even thought there will be 4 of you at the party at OC that weekend, i say still go for it if everyone is down for it. because you will still have fun. Then if everyone is down for doing a local one in Oct. decide that closer to the date.
