Bachelorette Party Weekend was Awesome!!!

I wasn't going to post yet since I don't have the pics downloaded yet, but what an incredible weekend. Sorry if this is long. My SIL and sister are the greatest! They organized a huge dinner with 18 of us at the local Italian place, dressed me up in a veil with a huge fake diamond ring on top and a feather boa, got a DISCO party bus to drive us to Hollywood to go out clubbing(didn't really make it to any but that's another story), and had a 'cop' stripper come on to the bus and pretend to arrest me- I really am not into stippers but he was pretty hot.

The night gets blurry from there but the party continued into the wee hours of the morning and almost got ruined when one of the girls had the party bus go by the guy's party when we went to get food and dragged them back to our party at my SIL's house. My brother was VERY pissed that we were making a ton of noise and were in the hot tub at 4 am when he told my SIL this wasn't going to happen. My FH was none too happy when he realized I had no clothes on in the hot tub, luckily he didn't get into a fight with me over it. Crazy night!

The next day we spent at the spa- massages, special detox seaweed bath and sparkling cider with my girls on our own private 'bridal' deck decorated with lots of tulle- it was awesome way to fend off the hangovers. All in all the weekend just blew me away. My SIL organized the whole thing and I really don't know how to thank her- Any ideas????

A thnak you for something like that is hard - I would go with a GC to somewhere/something really special (a weekend away at a B and B, a spa package, etc..) but you know her best!

Regarding your question about thanking your SIL: My MOH really went out of her way for my shower and I was in the same situation as you about how to thank her. I decided there was nothing I could do to really repay her except to write her a very heartfelt thank you. Then, when the wedding came around, I gave her a very personal, sentimental gift. I commissioned an artist to paint her a picture of our favorite beach where we spent our summers boating when we were kids. I had it framed. She got very teary when she saw it and loved it because it was different and special.
