bachelorette party...who's planning

so is anyone planning there own bachelorette party, because if they don't NO ONE ELSE WILL? I'm starting to get depressed.

You need to say to her 'Well, since your the maid of honor and will be planning it, do it whichever weekend you like and just make sure I am there.' As far as I know, it is the job of the MOH and the bridesmaids to plan it.

Yep, normally the MOH and the rest of the Bridal party plans it. Tell her to step up and get her butt in gear!

I am planning my own Vegas bachelorette party. My FH and I love Vegas and I have always said that I wanted to go for my bach. party whenever I got married, so I am going! BUT my MOH isn't going and another BM can't make it either, so it will be me, one BM, and a couple of friends.

My BM's will probably plan a NYC bach. party for me though, since most people won't be going out to Vegas.

I am planning and most likely partially paying for my bach party. I have a bestman and not a MOH and he is poor! I have two bridesmaids one is poor and the other is well off but she is my sister in law and 13 years older then me and we are very different.

So what i figured to do was to plan it ask everyone who would be invited if they would like to come and if it works out everyone chips in a bit to at least cover themselves and hopefully someone will treat me a bit if not .. no biggie.

So its Atlantic City for a overnighter in a suite/ big room and its a gal/guy party. Most of my friends are guys so i figured to have them OR we have a bar hop in NYC.

So i understand it feels icky that no one would be doing these things for you even though its kinda expected of them but in the end at least you get what you want

My MOH has come up with a lot of ideas and plans on presenting them to the bridesmaids.

I am sorry yours is not helping you. And, to miss it for a dance class at the age of 25???? That's beyond me.

My MOH is my sis and she's in the army in the middle east (and will be for the wedding), so she can't plan. My Man of Honor, is just that, a man and he's probably going to help with FH's plans. And my BM is also FSIL who I barely know and she wouldn't even know where to begin.

So I spoke with friends of mine from school and told them to plan it for me!! They are so excited to be doing it, and to be honest, I wasn't the least bit embarrassed telling them I wanted them to.

i have planned it with my girls! I dont wanna end up doing something i dont wanna do. we are doing an ALL DAY EVENT! taking north fork trolley out to the vinyards and to sag harbour and south hampton for the day! then going home to change and going to a kareoke bar that night! yay!

We are planning it ourselves. Since we are all strapped for cash, we are having one huge party at our house.

We will have poker tables set up
Drinking games
a trivia 'how well do you know the bride and groom'

I sent out the invites and told my Best Friend Kelly what I wanted to do and she is making it happen with help from my mom. I love them!

I have bachlorette party drama... one of my bridesmaids whom.. i was good friends with is making drama of it all. She is mad because i dont want strippers and my MOH is making sure she understands that. When i do mention to her what i want she tells me to butt out and i will just show up when the day is right. So needlesss to say i was annoyed. She wouldnt even tell me the date. so MOH settled that. I know the date but still no idea what the plans are. But hey what do i know im just the bride.. whos nobody

I planned mine but only because I knew the people that could hook me up with the club, the limo, and the alcohol. Everyone ended up only spending $25 a person for the whole night for all three! So I wanted to do that to save everyone money. But the dinner my MOH planned and did a great job!

That is so annoying - it is like the bachelorette party is more for the bridal party and friends than it is for the bride. I have heard so many people say stories about how the BP doesn't listen to what the bride wants (or the groom for the bachelor party), and they do their own thing. I can't stand that!!! I am so sorry they are doing that!

In fact my maid of honor (its too late to kick her out of the bridal party-even tho i want to) has just informed me to let her know exactly what weekend it is because she has a dance competition in July and won't be able to make it if it's the same weekend (Ok we are 25 ...dance class shouldnt come in the way of a bachelorette party) ! My friend situation *****!

Honestly I say if you are plannig your own then do it whenever you want and whatever you want, and if your MOH can make it then great, if not than her loss! You have to only think about yourself. This is your time to enjoy, not their's. They will all get their day! Good Luck
