mine is not. I really didn't have much to do with the planning, but I think it is something you need to know about ahead of time

My girls are planning it ALL. I have nothing to do with it and I don't know where, when or how. They will tell me when, when the time is right. Everything else is a surprise. P.S It helps that I have 8 great girls!!!!

I do not think it has to be.

I know many people that were not involved in the actual details of the plans but knew when and times and stuff like that. They didn't get details 'til they were there.

I have been to others (like my own this weekend) where the bride was actively involved in the planning. I know the details of when, where and what of most of the fetivities...I think they may have a couple surprises up their sleeves.

I just don't like the idea of it being like your shower...type of a surprise.
