My MOH keeps asking for what I would like to do and I have no clue - any ideas for something fun on LI, Manhatten or even Fire Island?
I always tend to settle for less and I want this to be really fun and memorable! I am only going to do this once! ;)
Thanks

Re: Bachlerette Party Ideas
What do you like to do? There are so many ideas out there. Some are:
Wine tasting, taking a limo out to the wineries and then do a fun dinner afterwards.
Go bar hopping in Greenwich Village (west side) and then end off at Culture Club for a fun night of 80's dancing
Spa day with fun manicures, great massages and lovely pedicures
Its your day so make sure you do what you want!

I don't think too much will be happening on fire island after labor day. How about atlantic city??? we went for my friends Bachlerette party in 2005 and had such a blast!!! it wasn't too expensive either!!! Or bar hopping in manhattan is always fun!!!!

Dinner and then a show like: 'Awesome 80's Prom,' or 'Naked Boys Singing!'

Re: Bachlerette Party Ideas
I just had mine this past weekend and did a wine tour (got a limo and a lunch included)...it was soooo fun! After that, we went back to a friend's house and played silly bachelorette games and then went out that night.

Re: Bachlerette Party Ideas
I am stuck on what to do as well. I am having mine in August. These are the ideas being thrown around:
Awesome 80's prom One night cruise to nowhere Weekend out east, shopping, dining, dancing, beach Sleepover, drinks, weegie board, food, fun
I am so torn on what to do, so I have been told to pick something that I could normally never do. Right now a weekend that involves, sleepover, dining, dancing, and a beach day is my preference. GL, you will have a blast no matter what you do!!!

If you're looking for a place to go out, and don't want to go in the city, Long Beach is always fun too....there are a lot of bars right along the same strip....you could even spend the night there and go to the beach the next day!

I LOVE Fire Island but as someone else said, you would need to do it on or before Labor Day. It is very dead after that. You could always do a wine tour on the north fork, have dinner and then go out in the Hamptons afterwards.
You could also rent a suite at the Garden City Hotel, do a passion party in the suite and then go to Posh or Mirage later on. Passion parties are so much fun! There is also DJ Chef that looks like it is fun.
Or if you want to go into the city, you could do the Awesome 80' Prom, the Sex in the City tour or Hunkamania. I've also done bach. parties where we went to a nice dinner (Tao, Dip, etc.) and then did the VIP thing at a club.
For one BP, we went to Madame X's for Diva School which was a strip tease class. It was so much fun. I would definitley recommend doing that as well.
