I have always heard such great things about this restaurant... Well after my aunts funeral, my uncle treated eveyone to a lunch there... I thought it was HORRIBLE...I was sooo disappointed. The service was slow, took us FOREVER to get anything to eat.. Food...blah... even ther bread wasn't that great!

and to top it off you weren't there for a happy reason.
I havent' eaten there since I went to Hofstra and I don't remember it being particulary good or bad.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience there - it's one of our favorite places! Last time we were there, they were REALLY slow though, and one of the stuffed artichokes we got was awful, so it's possible they're going downhill.

Thank you!!!! I HAAAAAAAAAAAATE that place, the service SUCKS, the food SUCKS big time and you have to wait like 3 hours to get a table! I cringe when I pass that place

Aw Man, I have't been there in a while, but DH and I just got a gift certificate to there for Christmas. Oh well, if it stinks, at least we didn't pay for it!

i used to go to baci all the time- food was good but it has gone down hill over the years. The service has become very slow, the last time, the waitress was rude.. It definately has changed..

Aw, it's still one of my favorite places. I can definitely say that I have never had rude service there at all and I love the food. Every restaurant has it's good days and bad days, and everyone has the places they like and don't like.

Yeah... I have to admit that I was not impressed when I went there for the first time either. My friends raved about it and I thought it was 'eh'.... and I definitely wasn't thrilled with the service.

They used to be good quite a few years ago. I have heard that it changed management and has gone down hill ever since.
They used to be very friendly and accomodating, it's a shame
