Back from a wedding at the Swan Club

Ok so you girls have NOTHING to worry about. There were a few things that bothered me, but it was nothing major or catastrophic!! First off the cocktail hour was YUMMYYYYYYYYY. FH and I had quite a few plates of food lol Then we moved into the main room and it looked beautiful. The DJ started and everyone packed onto the dance floor. The service was great! One of my best friends (who was the Best man) wanted to sit next to me for dinner so the waiter made sure his dinner was coming straight to my table. No problem...
However, a few of the bartenders were not so nice. They had an attitude whenever a drink order was changed or something needed to be added on. No big deal b/c some people were too drunk to notice lol
And just one more thing, they hold multiple weddings at once, so there were a few instances during the night that all the guests were mixed out in the lobby and a few times the brides almost crossed paths and also you can hear the other parties music over yours at times. Some people might not be bothered by it, but I wouldnt enjoy that. JMO

But overall it was a great night, FH and I had a blast!! The food and service overall was awesome and you girls will enjoy every minute of it!!!

LoL As for the mutiple weddings, I decided I wouldnt let that bother me b/c FH says we have the run of the place since we got the 'big dog' room hes a nut! The only thing that concerns me is the bathroom getting packed if there is more than 1 wedding at a time... How do you feel that was???

That whole music thing *****... I was hoping that I wouldnt be a prob... I am gussing you were in the Camelot room and there was another event going on in the smaller room next door or vice versa?

I'm not sure what room we were in actually lol it was the one to the left when you walk in the main door. As for the bathroom part, honestly i dont know how it was b/c i didnt go to the bathroom lol i was so surprised I didnt have to go the whole night, and I was drinking!
It was a really great time and I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful!

This is my very first post on LI Weddings. I have been reading the site like crazy to see other people's reviews and finally thought I'd give some input.

One of my best friend's had her wedding at Swan Club in July of 06. The place is definitely beautiful. Food was really good and the Camelot room and cocktail rooms were both perfect. I didn't notice the bartenders being rude, but the cocktails were EXTREMELY watered down. We had to drink so many drinks until finally we switched to beer and wine to feel the slightest buzz. After that experience I think I might personally tip my bartenders a little extra to make sure this doesn't happen. Drinkers need to get a little buzz on at a wedding!!! The only other negative thing I could possibly say was that b/c of the other events going on, they had some chaos during picture taking time. I woud be sure to let them know you have heard this and that you don't want to be fighting over photo space with another bridal party. My friend's husband got really angry b/c other people kept walking in front of their pictures and it wasn't the best way for them to start their big day! Otherwise, it was a great place and I would seriously consider it if my friend had not got married there! Grounds are outstanding too.

I did and it was SO DELICIOUS!! It was chocolate with chocolate mousse filling..I enjoyed it thoroughly lol
