Back from a week on Fire Island

Hey Ladies,

Just wanted to say hello!!! I got back last night from a MUCH needed week on F.I.!!! Def missed the board & hope all of you are doing ok. I had the opportunity to me Regy_k and spent a great day hanging w/her. Hope everyone has a great week!!!

Hey, did you and your FH get Pearl Jam tickets? LOL! One track mind over here...there aren't many PJ freaks on this board.

I love FI. I have never been there during the week, only on the weekends.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sat there for OVER an hour trying to get tickets for the 30th in Philly & the board was so locked I couldnt do it!!!! I feel so bad and am going to see if I can get them through a broker!!! Did you?!?!?!?!?!?!

It was such a clusterf*ck.
I did get through, albeit at 5:42. My coworkers were ready to throw me out the window at that point. Only for the Friday show; hoping for a Halloween one.
Seriously though - I've gotten prime seats week of the shows before through TM. Don't go through a broker yet...once I pulled up 13th row, Mike's side, the week of a Philly show. Another time in Boston, 9th row, Stone's side day before the show.
I don't know if the same goes for this other ticketing system...Comcast or whatever...but people are ALWAYS looking to sell extras for face. Just see, the 10C message board will be blowing up with extra Philly tickets in a couple of months.
If I hear anything, I can definitely FM you about it.
There are ways to avoid the scalpers - I have never EVER EVER gone through a scalper for any show - PJ or otherwise - and have never missed something because they claim it's 'sold out'. Things are never sold out.
