I have no clue how some people take hours to do this!
We walked in gave Nick the paper in which I circled all of our choices and we moved to the cake I handed him the piece of paper of what I wanted, then moved to all my odds and ends and handed him that paper THEN WE FOUND OUT WE ARE BEING MOVED!!!!
Well we had a choice to stay upstairs or to move downstairs and I asked FH what he wanted and he seemed hesitant because he really loves the upstairs room with the fireplace and the windows so no one can look in but in the end he was like 'ah lets do it down here - we will just be a bit roomie since we only have 100-115 people'. So we are in the ballroom which is scary because my parents are like isn't it going to be soo big for us? hahaha.
I figured this insures us not to have people walking above us or playing music above us when we do our ceremony and the plus is the HUGE bridal suit i now get!!!!'
So my cake is official Smooth buttercream flavored with Bailey’s Irish Cream, shamrock and vine details.
top and middle tiers: chocolate cake with raspberry mouse with fresh raspberries.
bottom tier: Bailey’s Irish Cream buttercream with chocolate chunks/ chips.
Did a mock up of what it should look like - no butter cream flowers since i want all fresh green flowers and the green ribbon to match is optional (i have to see if i can find the correct green). Black marks are just to show the baker where the shamrock details should go.

clm lets you move to the downstairs room if there is no other party or wedding going on at the same as yours.

I've never been to CLM. Debi has the upstairs room. Is the view of the bay, the same from both rooms? Mary MOB

somewhat. downstairs has a almost a full circle view. i think the website has pictures.

its the same view from both rooms just one is higher up and you do not see the docks as much the downstairs room has floor the ceiling windows that you can see the dock more.
Yea the wedding that was booked there (downstairs room) was moved up or something so we had the choice.

no problem.. clm was our first choice but between the distance and the water and the price we went with our second choice. i think the picture looking outside at all the people on the dock is a good picture.

that's awesome that you got the downstairs room! I am SO in love with that room! and even though you only have about 115ppl it will be fine. You dont really need to use the back section as much then and you can just have tables surrounding the dance floor. That will be perfect! Your cake sounds really yummy by the way. Did you have to go to the bakery to finalize the cake? Or did you just do it with CLM? Also, did you have to pay any extra for your cake choice? Just curious. I heard CLM switched bakeries but i am assuming your cake is from Black Forrest is that right?

That'll be great in the lower room. We had about 125 people (paid for 150, invited over 200!) & it was perfect & roomy. Nick laid it all out so it didn't look empty.

The cake I made a sheet up showing a picture of what I wanted and crossed off what I didn't want on the cake. Then I wrote down how exactly I wanted it. Nick just read it crossed off the one thing he said there was no need on (second filling on the bottom tier) and bamb nothing extra (or so we were told).
Nope my cake will be from campbells (i think that is how you spell it). I am going to get the exact flavor of hte bottom tier for my mom's birthday from that new bakery they are using just to verify it is okay.
