back from CT with major checks!
FH & I went to CT this week, and we accomplished a decent amount.
I had a hair trial with Kerri Anne Shea (she travels to NY), and she was fabulous. She didn't even bat an eye when I showed her the style I wanted...she went right to work, and she was done in a half hour tops. She does work for movies and models, and she has amazing reviews, so I felt really confident. She was also super friendly, which is always a plus. I included some pics...that's not my headpiece though, that's just a sample that we used to see how it would sort of look. Hair=booked!
Then last night we checked out Nelly Green's, a restaurant on the water for our RD. It was delicious, and we'll have the whole place to ourselves. RD location=booked!
Thennnn today we went for cake tastings at three bakeries. The last one was absolutely amazing--Luigi's in Bridgeport. We're getting golden yellow cake with cannoli cream filling. They were voted best cannoli in CT, so I'm really excited about that too! I don't have a pic, but we're getting a diamond white (to match my dress) cake prob 3-4 tiered cake with diamond white fondant ribbons. There will be a couple of roses with their centers dyed baby blue. The layers will be square, and they will be off center. Cake=booked!
