Sorry so long but I wanted to share my experience with these places for other girls who may not have visited yet!
So first let's just share the experience of both places before we get into the dresses.
RK Bridal - we got there around 12:30, signed in and then I went on my hunt for dresses. Found about 3 that I had on my list and then I just picked about 3 more. The wait for a room was the worst part because there was a lot of girls there today but once I got a room, the lady, Olga, was very nice, gave me honest opinions on the dresses I tried on (what worked for me and what didn't) and I didn't feel rushed at all, even though there was a line of people still waiting for a room. I'd give the overall experience there an...A.
Designer Loft: Had an appt for the San Patrick's trunk show at 3:30. Showed up at around 3:15 and was taken right away. The girl, Gloria, was a sweetheart. She sat down with me and my mom, got to know a little about our wedding and what styles I was interested in. The she took me around the store and showed me things that were in the price range we gave her. I think I tried on about 10 dresses while we were there and again, Ii did not feel rushed at all. She even let me try on a dress she knew I had no interest in purchasing, but it just looked like a fun dress to at least try on. Overall experience.... A+.
Now on to the DRESSES!
So, let me start by saying, NO I did not pick a dress yet, but now I have a total of 4 dresses in the running! My whole 'only have 1 dress on your mind when you leave the store' went right out the window LOL.
The first dress is Enzoani Chile (pic 1) - I actually really loved this dress - the way it fit, the detail on it, the train, everything! As soon as I put it on, in my mind at least (not my mother's), it replaced the Sophia Tolli that was in the running - my mom loved the dress too but thinks I should still consider the Sophia Tolli b/c it was a very beautiful dress.
Second dress is Casablanca, style 1885. My mom actually spotted this on another bride there and waited somewhat patiently for the attendant to bring it back out of the dressing room and snatched it up LOL. Glad she did, because again, this dress was beautiful. I really feel the picture does not do it justice. It just a soft sparkle to it and the train is gorgeous!
Third dress is a Pronovias. The girl wrote down that the name was Visia but I am having trouble finding a pic on the internet - maybe it was written down wrong. But it was an organza A-Line with a split front, lace bodice and the material in the split was scalloped. It was very pretty -m wish I could find a pic.
I will post the pics of the dress after this post.
