Ok so FH and I just met our photographer at a park to take epics. He emailed them to us and we thought a lot of them were cute. I sent them to my mom and she calls saying 'honestly, I'm not crazy about them.' She goes on to say that it looks like 'a jeans ad and we simply look like models'. I have to say I was shocked. She wasn't happy with our outfits and went on and on. She really upset me. I'm gonna try to get some up so you girls can see. Uhhhh, so sad! What do you girls think....honestly!

I think they came out great. I love how the purple pops in the pictures. I agree with the other posters, maybe your mom doesn't understand how e-pics are suppose to be. Its not like the photog can take candids of the two of you, they have to be posed so maybe that's why she thinks it looks like an 'ad'. I think they are clear and you both look so happy. By the way your makeup is fantastic.

ITA! Looking like models and like an ad kinda a compliment i think. She may be used to the more traditional pics. If you and FH love them, then that's all that matters!

I think they all came out so beautiful! I'm sorry that your mom thinks that and that you have to deal with it. Honestly, just like everyone else said, as long as you are happy that is all that matters! They really did come out so nice!

honestly i think you look gorgeous. I also think the outfits go with the background but maybe you would have achieved a more formal looking pic by dressing up. I don't know but you really do look great
