Back from HM...

Back from HM...

Hi ladies, DH and I got back from our HM this morning at 130.....we were in Sandals Antigua for 10 days and it was just so beautiful....though the traveling was horrific!!!!! If you can avoid flying American Airlines, by all means do!!!! DH and I had to spend the night in San Juan airport the night we left b/c they cancelled our flight and then yesterday coming home they did the SAME THING and said we had yo stay in San Juan again (that is where we had a layover before going to Antigua)....no one apologized or cared and we were far from the only flight to experience this!!! We chose not to stay again so we had to use another airline to get home last night and pay a ridiculous amount of money to do this....Having said all of this, Antigua is amazing....like paradise!!! I will post pics when I can....just wanted tto say a quick hello to all of you!!!! Hope all is well

YAYYY welcome back HM twin! So glad you enjoyed Antigua, it is such a beautiful place. I can't believe how many stories i've heard about American Airlines. We had a nightmare getting home with them too. Got home a day later than we were supposed too. Definitley write them an email, they responded to me in a few days and gave me a voucher towards another flight. Not like we want to fly with them again though! Can't wait to see pics.

Antigua looks beautiful, can't wait to see pics!

Oh and YES! stay away from American Airlines. We had to stay in Montego Bay cuz they canceled our flight back to New York too! and we had to reschedule our original flight to Jamaica cuz they had canceled our non-stop and then even got delayed mucho in Miami. So just beware....

omg!! I did too a few years back..they lost our luggage! I will never fly them again!

and i hear you about AA - me and my gfs flew to PR last month for the weekend & we were delayed both ways about 3 hrs!

OMG, I am so dreading flying...if it wasn't my honeymoon, I'd probably cancel. We already had a problem with our flights and we're losing just about the whole first day already. We didn't really have a choice. If I realized how bad things were going to get, I think I would've chosen a different place just NOT to fly with them!

ugh I wish there were a better airline to use !! Unfortunately we already paid for our flights !! Glad you had fun I can not wait to get to sandals - we are going to St.Lucia though.
